KATY WIX CAST IN MOLIERE’S THE MISER AT THE GARRICK THEATRE

Katy Wix joins a stellar cast in comedy classic THE MISER when it previews at the Garrick Theatre from 1st March 2017.

Sean Foley will direct this adaptation of Molière’s comedy, which also stars Griff Rhys Jones, Lee Mack and Mat Horne.

THE MISER follows the paranoid Harpagon, who is extremely fanatical about protecting his abundant wealth. Suspecting everyone as trying to steal his fortune, Harpagon will quite literally go to any length to protect his wealth. Setting his sights on rich spouses for his children, he struggles when his children’s true feelings are revealed. But what will prevail? Will it be the love of his money or his children?

THE MISER is set to play at the Bath Theatre Royal and Richmond Theatre prior to its highly-anticipated run at the Garrick Theatre, due to run from March 1st to June 10th 2017.

CHRIS HOWELL PLAYS ‘BERT BARRY’ IN 42ND STREET THE MUSICAL

Chris Howell has been cast as ‘Bert Barry’ in the West End production of  42ND STREET, which will premiere Spring 2017.

42ND STREET is described as a fable of Broadway and features a score by Harry Warren and Al Dubin and book by Michael Stewart and Mark Bramble. Based on the novel by Bradford Ropes and the subsequent 1933 Hollywood film adaptation of the same name, this classic backstage musical follows famed director Julian Marsh as he attempts to put on a brand new musical production during the height of the Great Depression. Peggy Sawyer, an unknown chorus girl, gets her big break and goes out on the stage a “youngster” and comes back a “star”.

The production will be directed by the show’s co-author Mark Bramble who directed the most recent Broadway revival of 42nd Street as well as numerous productions around the world.

DANIELLE STEERS JOINS THE CAST OF THE NEW BAT OUT OF HELL MUSICAL

Casting has been officially announced for the new Meat Loaf musical BAT OUT OF HELL, with Danielle Steers joining as ‘Zahara’.

The Jim Steinman musical will be directed by Jay Scheib, and produced by David Sonenberg, Michael Cohl, Randy Lennox and Tony Smith.

The production will preview in Manchester in February next year, before having it’s World Premiere at the London Coliseum in June 2017.

JOE AARON REID TO STAR IN THE WEST END’S DREAM GIRLS

Joe Aaron Reid will play the lead male role of ‘Curtis Taylor Jr’ in the West End’s DREAM GIRLS.

CAST OF ALADDIN ANNOUNCED WITH CLIENT OLIVER LIDERT

Client Oliver Lidert has joined the original London cast of the Broadway hit musical “Aladdin”.

JOE AARON REID CONFIRMED FOR IN THE HEIGHTS

Joe Aaron Reid has been cast in the lead role of “Benny” in the transfer production of the critically acclaimed and Tony award winning “In the Heights” at Kings Cross Theatre.

In The Heights tells the universal story of a vibrant community in New York’s Washington Heights neighbourhood – a place where the coffee from the corner bodega is light and sweet, the windows are always open and the breeze carries the rhythm of three generations of music. It’s a community on the brink of change, full of hopes, dreams and pressures, where the biggest struggles can be deciding which traditions you take with you, and which ones you leave behind.

CAST ANNOUNCED FOR UK PREMIÈRE OF KINKY BOOTS

Chloe Hart, Sophie Isaacs & Tim Prottey Jones will join the cast of Kinky Boots which opens at London’s Adelphi Theatre on 15 September 2015, with previews from 21 August.

Shepherd Management client Darren Carnall joins the production as UK Associate Choreographer.

REHEARSALS HAVE STARTED FOR WOMEN ON THE VERGE OF A NERVOUS BREAKDOWN

Alastair Natkiel will appear in the cast of WOMEN ON THE VERGE OF A NERVOUS BREAKDOWN when it opens at the Playhouse Theatre in December.

The Tony Award nominated musical is based on the original film by Pedro Almodóva and has been adapted for the stage by David Yazbek and Jeffrey Lane, and is being directed by Bartlett Sher.

Tamsin Greig plays Pepa, an actress and singer struggling to deal with being dumped with her boyfriend, Ivan. The plot thickens as his ex wife, Lucia and their son, Carlos, along with his fiancé show up. To make matters worse Pepa’s best friend, Candela, believes she is dating a terrorist. Chaos ensues!
